Write a Letter to the Stars – TSAI Chieh-Hsin Solo Exhibition
“The letter is for the stars to pass the message that I have to force you out of my mind to get through every day…”
Write a Letter to the Stars features 13 artworks, including 11 pieces of recent creation. The artist’s clever use of light creates a dramatic tension for the paper pulp sculptures, as if bringing them from the white cute to a black-box theatre, which thus enriches the colors and material qualities of the artworks to highlight different characters.
