Photography historian and philosopher Monique Sicard recounts: “When looking at Hsieh Chun-Te’s large black and white photographs, we can hear a deafening sound.” Traveling, migration, drifting, exile, all of this reflect in Hsieh Chun-Te ‘s artworks, including the saturated colors of home landscape and theater-like image aesthetics.
