Photography historian and philosopher Monique Sicard recounts: “When looking at Hsieh Chun-Te’s large black and white photographs, we can hear a deafening sound.” Traveling, migration, drifting, exile, all of this reflect in Hsieh Chun-Te ‘s artworks, including the saturated colors of home landscape and theater-like image aesthetics. He uses personal vitality to create melody that would touch the hearts of every viewer.
In the wide and deep creative process Hsieh Chun-Te’s philosophy has always been clear: he is convinced that art of any form must touch the depths of the human heart. His artworks are full of anxiety and abundant emotions, and express time consciousness. His creativity and influence continues up to this day.
