Chen-Dao LEE crosses over artistic creation and commercial videos as he practices painting, publishing, and directing. Transcending the boundaries between popular and aesthetic values, he explores the relationship between art and the present. He has previously won the prestigious Takashi Murakami Geisai Art Award and in recent years has produced multiple art projects and commercial films, collaborating with internationally renowned artists such as the singer Jane Zhang and TF BOYS’ Wang Yuan. His works have been exhibited at Liang Gallery in Taipei (2023), Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles (2021), MEGUMI OGITA GALLERY in Tokyo (2020), Aki Gallery in Leipzig (2020), Jonathan LeVine Galley in New York (2017), and Taipei. LEE Chen-Dao’s art direction has also received accolades, including the Platinum Award at the Houston International Film and Video Festival (2017), the Bronze Award in the MOTION category at the New York ADC Global Awards (2017), and the Best of the Best in the Communication Design category at the Red Dot Design Awards in Germany (2017).
